Job Description

A senior role for an experienced Platform Engineer, join our team to work on exciting infrastructure projects and help advance our service offering.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

Support and guide platform engineering team members
Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge sharing
Prioritise team tasks and coordinate project activities

Technical Ownership

Design, build, and maintain cloud architectures and SaaS products
Continuously improve operational metrics and system reliability
Define and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLO) and Service Level Indicators (SLI)
Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis
Shape product definitions and service offerings for internal and external stakeholders

Required knowledge, skills, and experience

Technical Skills

Security Operations (SecOps) and security best practices
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Cloud-native architecture and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
Drupal CMS platform management and optimization
CDN/WAF configuration and management (VCL, edge computing)
Observability and monitoring (metrics, logging, tracing)
Network architecture and troubleshooting
Linux system administration and containerization technologies

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Team leadership and mentoring experience
Ownership mindset and proactive approach
Excellent communication skills in cross-functional teams
English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Experience

3+ years as a Platform Engineer
OR 5+ years in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

Work location

This is a remote position within Europe (+/- 2 hours from CET). However, our teams work closely together and we encourage employees to visit our offices in Frankfurt, Berlin or Conil whenever possible.
